The S & S Consolidated Rams struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Friday (the Bowie Jackrabbits were 24% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. S & S Consolidated had to suffer through a rough 82-47 loss at the hands of Bowie. S & S Consolidated lost against Bowie in their previous head to head back in December of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-46 score last time.
Despite the loss, S & S Consolidated saw an underclassman step up: Joe Orr scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Turner, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Andrew Sandhoff was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with 4 steals for Bowie. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sandhoff has scored at least 25% of Bowie's points. Another player making a difference was Brady Lawhorn, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds.
S & S Consolidated has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 3-6 record. As for Bowie, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
S & S Consolidated's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Colbert at 10:20 a.m. on December 2nd. Colbert presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than S & S Consolidated in their respective states (Colbert is ranked 55th in Oklahoma, while S & S Consolidated is ranked 1106th in Texas). Bowie will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bonham at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
