Udall and Flinthills are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Udall Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Flinthills Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Udall is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home.
Last Tuesday, Udall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to Argonia. Udall has struggled against Argonia recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Udall got a solid performance out of Jenson Harness, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 50% of Udall's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Hornecker, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, even though Bluestem scored an imposing 55 points on Monday, Flinthills still came out on top. Flinthills walked away with a 63-55 victory over Bluestem. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Flinthills.
Udall has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Flinthills, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
