Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the South Fork Cubs walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 44-22 margin over the Knights. Winning may never get old, but South Fork sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
South Fork got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wesley Way out in front who rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Way is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Freitas, who rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns.
South Fork has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 6-6 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Stuart Hall, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2.
South Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stuart Hall also has no future games currently scheduled.
