Rabun County dropped to 7-2 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Athens Academy Spartans by a score of 49-46. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards. Chap Chapman was another key player, throwing for 338 yards and six TDs on only 16 passes.
Coming up, Rabun County will venture away from home to challenge Elbert County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Athens Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
