They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Newton County Cougars on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Crescents, who have now won nine matchups in a row dating back to last season.
Our Lady Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madeline Piazza out in front who had ten digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Piazza a new career-high.
