The Auburn Tigers stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 79-27 victory over Loachapoka. Given Auburn's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Indians are ranked 382nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Auburn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Plott led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Plott grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Franklin, who scored four points along with ten assists and four steals.
Auburn's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Loachapoka, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Loachapoka will face off against the Blue Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
