The Tahoma Bears came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Emerald Ridge by a score of 60-47. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Emerald Ridge is ranked 122nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tahoma to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Brown, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Adam Davis, who scored 11 points.
Tahoma pushed their record up to 17-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points per game. As for Emerald Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
Tahoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Emerald Ridge also has no future games currently scheduled.
