On Friday Burton will take on Castlewood at 7:00 PM. Castlewood will need to watch out since Burton have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
It was all tied up at the half for Burton and Grundy last Friday, but Burton stepped up in the second half. Burton were able to grind out a solid victory over Grundy, winning 44-31.
Meanwhile, Castlewood were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against Lebanon. Castlewood ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-35 walloping at Lebanon's hands. Castlewood were down by 6-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Burton didn't have too much trouble with Castlewood the last time the two teams met as they won 49-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burton since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
