Unioto is a perfect 3-0 against Circleville since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Shermans will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 5:15 p.m. Unioto knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Circleville likes a good challenge.
On Monday, Unioto got the win against Huntington by a conclusive 16-6. Considering the Shermans have won five contests by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Macie Cox made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. Cox was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Haylee Hull was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Mackenzie Welch was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Unioto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huntington only posted an OBP of .440.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Circleville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past Bloom-Carroll 3-2.
The team relied heavily on Kaylee West, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Audrey Cowdery, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Circleville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Unioto, their record now sits at 10-6.
Unioto came out on top in a nail-biter against Circleville in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shermans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
