Brinkley entered their tilt with City University School of Liberal Arts on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They took down City University School of Liberal Arts 88-70. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 78th in Arkansas, while City University School of Liberal Arts are ranked 315th in Tennessee), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

City University School of Liberal Arts' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Reliford, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 21 points. Reliford's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevion Robertson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Brinkley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for City University School of Liberal Arts, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

When Brinkley and City University School of Liberal Arts next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Brinkley will face off against England and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brinkley is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, City University School of Liberal Arts will try to stop Hillcrest's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
