The Chiawana Riverhawks can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 77-45 victory over Kennewick. Chiawana pushed the score to 58-31 by the end of the third, a deficit Kennewick had little chance of recovering from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chiawana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malia Ruud, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Baylee Maldonado, who scored 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
Chiawana has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Kennewick, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 11-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chiawana will take on Richland at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennewick, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kamiakin at 5:45 p.m. Kamiakin will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
