Everything went their way against Lyons-Decatur Northeast as Omaha Nation made off with a 66-46 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Omaha Nation, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Talan Mock and Brayden Hegge certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Mock scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds, while Hegge dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Omaha Nation's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Omaha Nation will look to defend their home court on Friday against Santee at 6:30 p.m. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Homer at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
