After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Mountain Pine finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Spring Hill Bears, falling 14-2. The Red Devils' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Mountain Pine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakob Walpole, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mountain Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Spring Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
