Section 4 D Division VII recap September 24, 2013
Notre Dame moved up to 232 from 267 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 4 D Division VII. The Crusaders climbed the ranks as a result of besting Spencer-Van Etten 26-24.
Notre Dame made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,481 from 8,205. The improvement was the result of 26-24 victory over the Panthers last week.
Watkins Glen's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Senecas feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brady Bond has thrown for 66 yards this season, while Adam Tuttle has 4 catches for 28 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Moravia takes on Groton. The Blue Devils are currently in fourth, while the Indians are in first.
Groton led the league in scoring this week after putting up 55 points on Odessa-Montour.
