Northview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Owen Valley Patriots 58-41 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on 16 straight.
It was another big night for Carlee Schrader, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynlee Clarke, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 15 points.
Despite the loss, Owen Valley still got an impressive performance from Aubrey Sparks, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 16 boards. The contest was Sparks' third in a row with at least 20 points. Hannah Bixler also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
