The Armada Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Peck out 75-73. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Armada as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Peck lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thomas West, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. West is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Heiden, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds.
Armada's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Peck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armada will take on the Muskrats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Algonac is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Peck, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. All Saints Central is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
