Russell won the last time they faced Pendleton County, and things went their way on Friday, too. Russell took the game and then some with a 41-0 win over Pendleton County. With Russell ahead 34-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
The victory bumped Russell's record up to 5-3. The defeat dropped Pendleton County's record to 2-5.
Next week Russell take on Lewis County at 7:30 PM. As for Pendleton County, they will face off against West Carter. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
