Milton-Union extended the longest winning streak in Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye this week by beating Preble Shawnee, 61-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
The Arrows' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Corey Hooker threw for 44 yards and Wyatt Austin had 25 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Frost chipped in 138 yards. Austin Moore helped Preble Shawnee's passing attack out by catching two balls for 19 yards.
Preble Shawnee's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Arrows feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Joby Williams has thrown for 992 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Christian Letner has 46 catches for 773 yards. Frost leads the league in rushing with 627 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Milton-Union takes on Dixie. As it stands, Bret Pearce's team is in first, while the Greyhounds are in third.
Preble Shawnee made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,828 from 13,964. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 61-0 victory over Matt Hopkins' team last week.
