Beyer hasn't had much luck against Livingston recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.
Livingston will be up against a hot Beyer squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Patriots put the hurt on Johansen with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday.
One reason for the win was Beyer's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-8.

Cruz Hibbard and Antonio Rivera were among the main playmakers for Beyer as the former had eight assists and four digs and the latter had three aces. Those three aces gave Rivera a new career-high.
They weren't the only good server: Beyer was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Livingston came out on top. Everything went their way against Ceres on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.
While Livingston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-17.
Beyer better keep an eye on Shabadjot Kaloya. He was instrumental in Livingston's win, getting three digs and three aces.
Livingston's record is now 28-5. As for Beyer, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: Beyer has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Livingston struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Beyer came up short against Livingston in their previous matchup back in March, falling 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
