The Greenville Comets can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Christ Our Rock Lutheran as Greenville made off with a 51-28 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Greenville as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Greenville to victory were Emma Veith and Katie Campbell. Veith scored 22 points along with seven steals, while Campbell dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Veith has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Mccullough, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Greenville will head out on the road to take on Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Litchfield is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Christ Our Rock Lutheran will take on Ramsey at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
