Ursuline Academy had a senior duo take command as Madelyne Davis scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds and Izzy Schroeder scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schroeder has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lucy Devlin, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Ursuline Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Bishop Lynch, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-12.
Ursuline Academy will be playing at home against Nolan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nolan Catholic is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bishop Lynch, they will head out on the road to challenge Prestonwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Prestonwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
