PUEBLO, Colo. - After four lead changes,
Pueblo South (Pueblo, Colo.) took the lead for the win when
Nathan Spinuzzi ran for a touchdown with 4:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Longmont (Colo.) 38-27 on Saturday.
After trailing 16-12 at the half, the Trojans went ahead on a two-point conversion with 2:00 left in the third.
By the end of the third, Pueblo South found itself trailing by 12 points as Longmont captured the lead thanks to two scores in the quarter. LHS scored on a two-point conversion and a
Drake Greeott touchdown run in the quarter.
The loss comes after Longmont defeated Greeley Central 35-34 last week.
