Volleyball Recap: Sayre Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sayre had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Western Hills Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2017.

Sayre's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Western Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Sayre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against North Oldham on the 18th. As for Western Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Franklin County on the 22nd.
