East extended the longest winning streak in Interscholastic this week by beating Lincoln College Prep, 20-12. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Southwest Early College was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, Southwest Early College defeated Afrikan Centered 12-8.
Hassan Burnett has thrown for 1665 yards and 20 touchdowns this season, while Tyler Bluett has 40 catches for 685 yards. Kevin Coulter leads the league in rushing with 560 yards.
Greg Smith's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,167 from 10,588. The advance stemmed from a 20-12 victory over the Blue Tigers last week.
