It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Maple Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Saratoga Central Catholic Saints. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Madison Camadine made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing eight innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Halle Feldman, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.
