They put the hurt on the Emma Willard Jesters with a sharp 24-6 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Lizzy Powers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Powers was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
