The Greenfield Bruins were the 56-48 winner over the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Greenfield fell 68-61 to Rancho San Juan on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Rancho San Juan found their leader in underclassman Kingston Salviejo, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abner Galope, who scored six points.
Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Rancho San Juan, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
Greenfield will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Soledad at 7:00 p.m. As for Rancho San Juan, they will head out on the road to face off against Pajaro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pajaro Valley is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
