The Leesville Road Pride took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-10 victory over the Corinth Holders Pirates. Considering the Pride have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Damacio Cueto continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 343 yards and six touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes. Those 343 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Jayden Lee Perry was Cueto's top target, picking up 71 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Another reason for the win was Leesville Road's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Corinth Holders' QB won't forget Gavin Lennon anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

When it comes to explaining why Corinth Holders lost, don't look at Carter Lawson. Despite the final result, he picked up 111 receiving yards and one score. Lawson was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 60 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Leesville Road and bumps their season record up to 6-2. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 5-2 Enloe (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.7% over those games). As for Corinth Holders, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Leesville Road wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-10 defeat against Rolesville on the 24th. As for Corinth Holders, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-22 loss against Enloe on the 24th.
