Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palatine). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Rolling Meadows Mustangs on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Palatine now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Coming up, Palatine will host Hersey at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rolling Meadows, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hoffman Estates at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
