Cedarcrest is a perfect 3-0 against Bellevue since March of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Wolves will welcome the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Cedarcrest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
Cedarcrest will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against Sammamish on Wednesday. The Red Wolves put the hurt on the Totems with a sharp 19-6 victory. The Red Wolves haven't had any issues with the Totems recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Paityn Craig, who fired off three home runs, eight RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kyle Watson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cedarcrest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 11.4.
Meanwhile, Bellevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Highline, falling 20-3.
Carmen Aguado-Scheyer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Kelley, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Cedarcrest's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Bellevue, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Cedarcrest has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bellevue struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Cedarcrest's way against Bellevue in their previous meeting last Monday, as Cedarcrest made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
