Basketball Game Preview: Foundation Christian Academy Falcons vs. Christian Fellowship Eagles

Foundation Christian Academy is 0-5 against Christian Fellowship since January of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons take on the Eagles at 2:30 p.m. Foundation Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Foundation Christian Academy was fully in charge, breezing past Varsity Opponent 79-17. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 28 points or more this season.

Foundation Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Garrett Barr out in front who posted 14 points. Barr continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caden Ayres, who earned 12 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Christian Fellowship hadn't done well against Fulton County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Christian Fellowship managed a 64-58 win over Fulton County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Foundation Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points over those games. As for Christian Fellowship, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Foundation Christian Academy came up short against Christian Fellowship when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 79-66.
