The Northfield Norsemen lost against the North Miami Warriors back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northfield took a hard 57-41 fall against North Miami. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northfield in their matchups with North Miami: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Northfield still got an impressive performance from Hannah Holmes, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds.
Northfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Miami, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northfield will challenge Madison-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Miami won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Judson-San Pierre at 5:30 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully North Judson-San Pierre focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 last Thursday.
