It was a good run, but the Chattahoochee Cougars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Banks County, falling 61-29.
Chattahoochee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Berninger, who scored six points along with ten rebounds. Berninger is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Brooklinne Dorr was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
Chattahoochee's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Banks County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
