The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights will take on the Trinity Christian Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
North Raleigh Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy 49-20. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

It was another big night for Davin McCoy, who rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 122.7 rushing yards per game. John Amanchukwu was in the mix as well, providing North Raleigh Christian Academy with one TD.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian humbled Ravenscroft with a 49-7 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won four games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
North Raleigh Christian Academy better keep an eye on Jaden Clifton. He was instrumental in Trinity Christian's win, rushing for 110 yards and three scores on only seven carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Clifton a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Amir Jackson, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries.
One reason for the win was Trinity Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Baganley Donzo and Amari Robinson, who racked up five sacks between them. Donzo is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Dontario Austin was another major factor on D, making 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
The victory made it two in a row for Trinity Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
North Raleigh Christian Academy took a serious blow against Trinity Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 55-21. Thankfully for the Knights, Elijiah Oehlke (who threw for 433 yards and six TDs while picking up 14.9 yards per attempt) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
