In other batting news, Summer Stearns and Lorelai Herndon did some serious damage despite the final result: Stearns scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Herndon went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Stearns is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Kayleigh Cardona was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
West Nassau took their victory against Providence School when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0.
