 Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Brielle Amarel, who  had eight  digs and two  assists, and  Sophie Ryken, who  had 11  digs, six  kills,  and two  aces. Ryken is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in each of the last 19 games she's  played.
Peoria's record now sits at 5-13. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at four matches  and leaves them with a 14-10 record.
 Coincidentally, Peoria and Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will both be playing Copper Canyon the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Aztecs at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 1:00  p.m.
