Penn-Trafford has gone a perfect 7-0 against Kiski Area recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. Penn-Trafford is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Penn-Trafford's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Penn Hills with a sharp 15-0 win.
Rob Andrews looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Penn-Trafford got a massive performance out of Jason Malamisuro, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave Malamisuro a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Stone, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one triple.
Penn-Trafford hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Kiski Area didn't have quite enough to beat Plum on Wednesday and fell 7-6. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dimitri Spagnola and John Deluca stepped up to the plate in a big way. Spagnola went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Deluca went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Spagnola has become a key player for Kiski Area: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-9 otherwise.
Penn-Trafford's record now sits at 10-5. As for Kiski Area, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Penn-Trafford has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Kiski Area struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Penn-Trafford came out on top in a nail-biter against Kiski Area in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
