Shepherd has gone a perfect 3-0 against Farwell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bluejays will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Shepherd is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
On Monday, Shepherd made easy work of St. Louis and carried off a 16-1 win.
Brady Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Michael Pung was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and two doubles. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryce Smith, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Shepherd always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Louis only posted an OBP of .421.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Farwell's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 9-6 to Harrison.
Mason Esterline made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Farwell's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 6-12 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Edlin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Shepherd's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Farwell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
Everything went Shepherd's way against Farwell in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Shepherd made off with an 18-0 victory. Will the Bluejays repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
