Despite the defeat, Saint Andrew's had strong showings from Madelynn Ortlieb, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Luiza Queiroz, who had 17 kills and 12 digs. Queiroz is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, American Heritage came up short against Royal Palm Beach on Thursday and fell 3-1.
