Dominic Lewis of University City ran for the longest rushing play in Central this season against Castle Park last week. Lewis ran for 88 yards on the play and finished with 140 on the day as his team bested the Trojans.
University City moved up to 567 from 619 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Charles James' team climbed the ranks as a result of besting Castle Park 20-0.
The Centurions' dynamic duo of Drake Aguon and Kyle LeBlanc proved to be unstoppable against Hans Graham's team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Aguon threw for 101 yards and 1 touchdown and LeBlanc had 41 yards receiving. Quinn Skillin helped University City's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 32 yards.
Josh Urbonas was a passing and rushing force as Clairemont bested La Jolla Country Day.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Christian's Michael Carrillo and Kai Arvan have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Carrillo has thrown for 2,122 yards this season, while Arvan has 28 catches for 635 yards. University City's Lewis leads the league in rushing yards with 755.
The Centurions took down the Trojans 20-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Aguon ran for 33 yards during the win.
