The Hershey Trojans gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Exeter Township 28-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hershey.
Hershey had a senior duo take command as Angel Cabrera rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns and Derek Guzman gained 204 total yards.
When it comes to explaining why Exeter Township lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carter Redding. Despite the final result, he picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Hershey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Exeter Township, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-3.
Hershey will head out on the road to face off against New Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Oxford is on a six-game streak of home wins, Hershey a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Exeter Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
