It was a good run, but the Palisades Pumas unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Myers Park, falling 68-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Palisades has scored all season.
Kingston Henry was Palisades' leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Jayln Hayes took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Myers Park was led to victory by Sadiq White Jr. and Bishop Boswell. White Jr. scored 20 points along with six rebounds, while Boswell scored 11 points along with nine assists and four steals. Boswell also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sir Mohammed, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Myers Park, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Palisades will head out on the road to face off against South Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully South Mecklenburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. Myers Park will take on Mountain Brook in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at.
