Basha and Notre Dame (SO) (ranked 76th and 15th in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile matchup on Wednesday. The Basha Bears took an 80-63 bruising from the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Basha fell to 9-1. As for Notre Dame (SO), the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Basha will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
