Blessed Trinity won the last time they faced Norcross and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans won by a set and slipped past the Blue Devils 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Blessed Trinity who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 17-15.

Blessed Trinity's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ruby McDermott, who had 12 digs and three assists. Abby Woodward was another key player, getting four aces and three digs.

Norcross' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Taylor, who had nine digs and three assists.

Blessed Trinity's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Norcross, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Blessed Trinity will square off against Cambridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Norcross, they will challenge Archer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
