Trinity has gone 8-2 against Boiling Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trinity Shamrocks will challenge the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Trinity's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
Boiling Springs better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Trinity really get things going. Trinity was the clear victor by a 70-45 margin over York Catholic last Saturday. The Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

12/20/24 vs James Buchanan | 22 |
12/17/24 @ Bishop McDevitt | 25 |
12/12/24 vs Susquehanna Township | 31 |

Trinity's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Owen Schlager, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, and Marcus Yeager, who posted nine points along with six assists and six boards. The contest was Schlager's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Steele, who had seven points.
Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 59-58 to Hershey. While losing is never fun, the Bubblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Trojans are ranked 11th).
Trinity will have to contain Ethan Yenser as he made an impact in Boiling Springs' last game. He put up 24 points. Mason LaBuda was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Trinity pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Boiling Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Trinity hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 72.6 points per game. However, it's not like Boiling Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 60.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Trinity came up short against Boiling Springs in their previous matchup back in January, falling 79-74. Can Trinity avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
