Clare scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Ogemaw Heights Falcons by a score of 52-50. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 62-61 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Clare and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Ogemaw Heights, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
