The Crescent Loggers will be playing at home against the Clallam Bay Bruins at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Crescent will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Crescent posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Non Varsity Opponent 39-37.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crescent to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ciara Cargo-Acosta, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Cargo-Acosta has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Gales, who scored seven points along with eight blocks and seven assists.
Meanwhile, Clallam Bay was able to grind out a solid win over Non Varsity Opponent last Monday, taking the game 30-22. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clallam Bay.
Crescent pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Clallam Bay, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Everything came up roses for Crescent against Clallam Bay when the teams last played last Friday as the team secured a 49-19 victory. Will Crescent repeat their success, or does Clallam Bay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
