The Andover Trojans put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Eisenhower at home to the tune of 61-18. Andover has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 28 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Brooke Walker, who scored 22 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Katie Evans was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Andover's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Andover will head out on the road to face off against the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Center will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Trojans are ranked 13th). As for Eisenhower, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Andover Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday.
