Sabino fell to Saguaro 48-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Emilio Araiza was a bright spot for the Sabercats, as he threw for 272 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss.
The longest pass in the league this week was acheived by Sabino's Araiza. Jay Campos' team lost to the Sabercats when he connected with Alex Turner on a 52-yard pass.
Leading III Section II in both passing and receiving yards, the Sabercats' Araiza and Matt Bushman have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Araiza has thrown for 2,155 yards this season, while Bushman has 63 catches for 1,583 yards. Empire's Sean Fitzsimmons leads the league in rushing yards with 1,683.
In 165 carries Jorge Romero has put up 988 yards this year.
So far this year, Jeremiah Wilcoxen has thrown for 1,854 yards with 21 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
Sabino led the league in points allowed with 48.
