In other batting news, Landyn Worrell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Northern Nash kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Roanoke Rapids only managed five hits.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Nash will head out to take on Chatham Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roanoke Rapids, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nash Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th.
